The second release of the series and an award-winning whisky. For centuries Mount Fuji had inspired artist and pilgrimages. In 2013 it was added to the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List. In commemoration to this event, Hibiki released a limited edition. Beautifully presented in a decanter with a painting of a scenic view of Mount Fuji. The 24 facets of the bottle represent the 24 seasons of the Japanese lunar calendar.
Awarded World’s Best Blended Whisky at the 2014 World Whiskies Awards and was awarded 96 points in the Jim Murray’s 2014 Whisky Bible. Dr. Whisky rates it as ‘Unbelievably balanced, and dangerously drinkable’.
The Master’s Select Edition celebrates the artistry of Japanese culture, the bottle and box are decorated with the Sakura flower (cherry blossom), a royal carriage (Goshoguruma) and the streaming water (Ryusuimon). These symbols represented good fortune and prosperity during the Edo period and were a special offering for the Shogun.
Hibiki 21 Year Old was, yet again, selected as the best blended whisky in the world at the World Whisky Awards 2017. This comes as no surprise to us at dekanta, as the Hibiki has been awarded every year at the WWA since 2009, and is, in our view, a work of pure genius. The judges described it as being “Elegant, sweet and complex".

A unique single malt whisky with a vibrant and crisp flavour profile. The Hakushu Distillery was founded in 1973, built in the deep forest of Mt. Kaikomagatake in the Japanese Southern Alps. The distillery is known for producing gently smoky single malt whiskies, fresh with herbal notes.
Composed of a non-peated whisky aged in American oak, a non-peated whisky aged in ex-sherry/Spanish Oak, and a peated whisky aged in American oak. As such, the peat level goes down to a mild 7-9 ppm. This product is no longer produced.
