Michter’s US1 Kentucky Straight Rye Barrel Strength is a rich, smooth, full-bodied whiskey, part of the Limited Release collection of single-barrel, small-batch, barrel-proof American Whiskeys.
This whiskey is distilled in a copper-pot still and matured in fire charred-white oak barrels. These barrels are stored in a heat-cycled warehouse. During the process, fluctuations in temperature expand and contract the wood barrels, bringing out flavours such as marmalade and light caramel.
