The special edition commemorates 50 years of Guyana’s independence. The blend contains rums aged between 33 to 50 years in oak casks. 65% distilled in 1966, 25% in 1966 and 10% in 1983. Finished with a dash of pot stills rums surviving from the Double Wooden Pot Still and John Dore copper kettle.

Small batch, single cask Demerara rum, produced at the Diamond distillery in Guyana in 2005, bottled at cask strength in 2016. For this edition, only 473 bottles were released. This particular bottle comes from Cask no. 108.
Each bottle is individually numbered, marked with the barrel number and the name of the distillery in which the rum was produced. Every bottle is sealed with an elegant glass closure instead of a standard cork pin. The tube completes the elegant presentation.
