The excellent conditions in 2012 produced an ideal balance between sugar and acidity, resulting in a wine of exceptional harmony, with great energy, character, and potential. Due to its rarity, less than 30 vintages of Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque have been produced to date.
The small but noble champagne house in the legendary town of Cramant has been bottling for generations and produces a total of only 28,000 bottles a year. Their wines are made from a selection of grapes from old vines, the oldest was planted in 1930.
The Blanc de Blancs Brut Millésime 2011 Robert Moncuit Vozémieux 100% Chardonnay is the first bottling for this famous place in the village of Mesnil-sur-Oger. The clear wines are all fermented in large stainless steel tanks and are subjected to a complete Malo process. The wine was degorged in 2017 and received a very low dosage of 1.12 grams per litre. The wine must be aged in the bottle to develop its delicate structure to a greater extent.
Rosé Brut Les Romarines is produced with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes grown on a chalky terroir. Two Grands Crus: the Mesnil-sur-Oger and the Ambonnay. The reserve is aged for two years, with a dosage of 12 g/l, fermented in thermoregulated stainless steel tanks. The aging period in the bottle is at least two or three years. Perfect for aperitif, meat, fish or dessert dishes.
This 100% Chardonnay wine is grown on different vineyards in the commune of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. The vinification takes place in temperature-controlled steel tanks. During the controlled fermentation process, the biological acid reduction takes place. Maturation on the yeast lasts six months. The residual sugar content is 3g/l.
