The new Bimber Single Malt, Single Cask whisky Switzerland Edition 2021 has finally arrived. This expression was matured in Ex-Bourbon and drawn from Cask No. 205. Bottled at cask strength and exclusively produced for Figee Fine Goods as part of Bimber's 2021 Country Collection. Very limited, only 270 bottles were released. The Bimber Country Collection was created to meet the growing demand for Bimber’s single malt whiskies. The new release follows the inaugural 2020 collection, which was a hit and sold out worldwide. The latest batch is composed of twenty-four cask strength, single cask whiskies. Fourteen have been released this summer and the other ten will be available by the end of the year. The lucky countries are Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, The Nederlands, Poland, South Africa & Taiwan. Each edition showcases a variety of casks such as Ex-Bourbon, Pedro Ximenez, Madeira, Ruby Port and Ex-Rye. Non-Chill filtered, natural colour.
The Bimber Distillery was founded by whisky enthusiasts with a mission to produce high-quality single malt whisky with character, using traditional methods rarely seen today.The journey begins at their single farm, where 100% of their barley is grown. It is then traditionally floor malted, hand mashed and fermented slowly for seven days in wooden washbacks, handmade at their own cooperage. Using direct fire to heat the small copper pot stills and maturing the whisky in hand-selected casks. Finally, the whisky is bottled on-site at the distillery.
