This is a majestic, powerful, explosive rum. Complexity itself with a waft of distant fragrances. An extraordinary single cask rum, bottled in Scotland in October 2018. Very limited bottling of only 345 bottles, distilled at Trinidad Distillers.
Tasting notes
The bouquet opens with musky and earthy notes. The smell of the well-worn pews of a Gothic church in northern France. Notes soft vanilla followed by licorice and dried fruit.
It has to be said, this is a very complex rum, a rum that teases with intense notes of myrtle, juniper berry and buttery pollen. The sweet notes bring roundness and elegance, the Chlorophyll tones provide structure.
