Pot still rum, aged in an English whisky / red wine barrel - Tropical ageing Two years – MCPA/WM 1 cask of Mauritius Cane juice rum 2015 from a Restricted Distillery - Cask # 14 Barrel. Column still rum, aged in English whisky/Ex red wine - Column still / Cane juice – Tropical ageing two years – MLM0/WM Yehmon Classic 2023 is part of the Yehmon Trilogy series of blends, each embodying a distinct approach to rum-making. This collection offers three rum styles: a comforting classic, a slightly dreamy vintage, and a nostalgic throwback to yesteryears.
Tasting notes
A rum with sophisticated aromas full of peaks of balsamic plants, spices and oriental dishes, dried fruit, hazelnut, tobacco, and liquorice.
Notes of almonds, yeast, a hint of biscuits and powdered milk.
Extremely persistent.
