Only the finest vodkas were allowed to use the coveted Green Mark seal. Ever since Green Mark has continued to be Russia's leading mainstream vodka brand. The bottle has a special cork, resembling its original design from the early 20th century.

The Green Mark brand of vodka is a Russian product that dates back to the Soviet Union. During the time of the USSR, vodka production was already strictly controlled in terms of quality. The Zelyonaya Marka (Green Mark) quality certificate was only awarded to the best vodkas. After regulations and surveillance of vodka production had been eased at the end of 1950, the Russian Alcohol Group decided to relaunch a trademark with precisely this seal of quality - Green Mark was born.
