Made to perfection, elegant and powerful like the rhythm of soul music. Its light color resembles the one of a light topaz. This molasses rum was bottled in Scotland in July 2017 by independent bottler Samaroli. Limited edition, only 420 bottles were released.
Tasting notes
The nose reveals floral aromas with a touch of hay and mint.
Rough and oily on the palate. Notes of tobacco, honey and paprika are followed by hints of freshly burned wood in the open countryside.
Samaroli is an independent bottler of rare rums and whiskies from around the world. The company was originally founded by Silvano Samaroli in 1968, who at the time was the only non-British or non-Scottish person in the trade. His passion, knowledge and experience of almost 50 years of individually selecting the best casks allowed him to expose the complexity of each of the spirits, maintaining their harmonious balance and outstanding taste.The maturation is carried out in Scotland, where the climate (cooler than in the Caribbean) enables longer ageing and consequently cleaner more elegant rums. Every bottle is numbered and dated.The company is lead today by Antonio W. Bleve who after a long time of collaboration and love for the company’s philosophy, has continued to deliver outstanding unique releases of single cask whiskies and rums.
