This dark-amber rum was matured in oak barrels until 2005 when it was transferred to Oloroso Sherry barrels for further maturation. Bottled in limited quantities by independent bottler Bristol and it is part of the Bristol Classic series.
The Port Morant Distillery was built in 1732 on the banks of the Demerara River, later on, it became part of the Demerara Distillers. Today they still use its original Double Wooden Pot Still, to produce full flavored and rich rums.
