The Dailuaine distillery is known for producing robust malts due to a long fermentation process, quick distillation, and stainless steel condensers. Most of their output is used to blend Johnny Walker, with only 2% sold as single malts.

This extraordinary whisky was made from 100% single-farm-grown barley, dried with a mix of wet and dry Aberdeenshire peat.
