The second release from Macallan's series " Night on Earth" is a limited edition single malt whisky created to celebrate New Year's traditions around the world. Every year, a different destination and its local family traditions are displayed, capturing the universal joy of celebrating a special occasion with loved ones. According to tradition, the "first footer" will carry three things: shortbread, whisky and coal for the fire. Each gift is designed to bring comfort and happiness for the rest of the year. Shortbread is a prominent flavour in this whisky. Renowned French-Japanese illustrator Erica Dorn collaborated to create the playful design of the bottle and packaging, recalling the festive rituals and fireworks celebrated around the world at the end of the year.
