Pares Balta Calcari is a white wine from Penedès made from single-varietal Xarel-lo grapes. No oak ageing. Calcari was fermented in stainless steel tanks with a gentle battonage in order to preserve the purity and delicate flavour of the grapes.
The vineyard where the grapes are grown is located at an altitude of 254 metres, where the soils are calcareous and clayey, giving this wine its mineral profile. The winery utilizes organic and biodynamic methods
